This is the challenge of homesteading and farming - there are no one-size-fits-all solutions to most challenges. We have to experiment and go at it with trial and error. The trouble is, it's a seasonal way of life so I have to wait an entire year to make my adjustments! LOL One Straw Revolution was one of the few books that I've been able to take and adapt the techniques with some success. I'm using a modified Fukuoka method for my pasture planting and maintenance and am very pleased with the results. But honestly, it took several years of figuring out that other things I was trying wasn't working.

I'm guessing Larry Korn's is an interesting story.
